Changing Your
Real Name in
Skype
Log in to your account with Skype ID and password.
Go to "profile" listed under Skype tab. Click on edit profile. Change your real name.
Log out of existing Skype account and click on "Don't have a Skype name?" Since you cannot change the Skype name once you create an account, you need to create a new Skype account.
Register yourself with Skype using your real name, new Skype name and email ID.
Read the terms and conditions, and then create your account.
Changing Your Skype User Name
Log in to your Skype account.
Click the "Skype" tab, and select "Profile" and then "Edit your Profile" from the toolbar at the top.
Edit or change your name in the "Full name" box.
Select "Update."
Log out and log back in to Skype.
